Yankee Lobster
Located in Boston’s Seaport District, Yankee Lobster runs a family tradition as deep as Boston Harbor. The Zanti’s history in lobster catching began with Guiseppe Zanti Sr., who immigrated to America in 1898 – that same voyage would eventually be followed by his son, Guiseppe Jr., in 1921. Guiseppe Jr. began fishing for lobsters, crabs and fish in Boston Harbor throughout the 1920’s and 1930’s. As WWII came to an end, Guiseppe’s three sons joined the family business full time – primarily turning their attention to lobster catching. In 1989, the business was eventually passed on to Joseph Zanti and Dennis Kelley. As part of a recent facade upgrade, Lafuente was brought on to update the companies signage and awning. Replacing their old fabric awning, Lafuente designed, manufactured and installed a new metal, standing-seam awning along with three, custom built sign panels.
